The fourth order Fresnel lens that once lit Point Montara lighthouse gleams once again.
This time, the beacon helps shed light on an exhibit called "Ships of the World" which
highlights local maritime history. An exciting video features JoAnn discussing shipwrecks
from atop the lighthouse bluffs.

"FROM WHALE POINT TO PIGEON POINT"

Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park

dog-hole port were part of the local area. Enjoy shipwreck tales, keepers’ stories, and

"ODYSSEY OF THE OCEANE"

Oddyssea Outside Garden
Half Moon Bay, California

Explore the wreck of an old sailing ship. Touch remnants of the ship’s hull and mermaid
figurehead. Delight in the "Odyssey of the Oceane," a story written by JoAnn. Although
fictional, the story is based on historic facts suggested by vessels of the California Gold
Rush era. Journey back to a time we will never see again, except in our imaginations.
